Jim & Felucca

Felucca and Jim had an amazingly intimate and unique wedding with a total of 15 guests. Their wedding at Barndiva in Healdsburg was a destination wedding for them coming from Cleveland Ohio where Jim and his partner Fabio started Lago an Italian restaurant. Felucca and Jim were so wonderful to me I felt like more of a guest than a photographer! Healdsburg was a sight for sore eyes giving tons of photographic opportunities not to mention what a radiant couple Jim & Felucca make. See there crazy beautiful SLIDESHOW HERE. Tammy & Marie

Marie & Tammy were married at the California State Museum in front of an amazing wall embossed with words from the constitution. The words were poignant and especially meaningful for this amazing time in their lives. The reception was at the very artsy Pamela Skinner Gallery. Please see their SLIDESHOW HERE.

Wilson Vineyards is such a lovely venue for a wedding and Lily and Jon were a an absolutely lovely couple to work with. It was an amazing wedding complete with a horse drawn carriage and doves! Please take a look at their beautiful SLIDESHOW HERE

Scribner Bend ~ Bender Event

Kristina & Mike's beautiful day.

My dear Kristina & Mike got married on September 12, 2008 at the rustically stunning Newcastle Wedding Gardens. A spectacular site with a gorgeous relaxed atmosphere and perfect lighting to boot! The entire day was unique, luscious, and loving and it was touching to be selected to capture the day as it unfolded.The amazing flowers with the peacock feathers were done by Blooms by Martha Andrews. Sarah & Steven at Taber Ranch, Capay Valley

Sarah & Steven were an amazingly symbiotic and beautiful couple and they were an inspiration to me. To put a cherry on top of it, Taber Ranch is my absolute favorite place to shoot at (sorry other venues). And in spite of the slightly toasty weather (104) the wedding was spectacular and the mood was playful and loving. Please take a look at their super cool SLIDESHOW. I just feel in love with these shots and had to share them with you all. Kristine & Corey brought their adorable and well behaved golden retriever to their engagement shoot. It was such a pleasurable outing!

I am so thankful to have such a great job and to work with great people. Travis and his dad were some of these people. Travis came in for his high school senior portraits and was such a sweet kid and a total pleasure to work with. Too bad he couldn't bring his guitar to add in the mix but maybe next time...

I have been exploring studio work and have been enjoying it greatly. Here are a few shots I recently took. There is even a picture of the doggy that lives next store to the studio!

My Satori Ladies

To commensurate my new studio space I had my dear work out buddies at my Kovar's SatoriFit class come in for a group shot. I like it because it is a blend of self defense, cardio, weight resistance, stretching, balancing, camaraderie... a whole bundle of good thing in 1 hour 3X's a week. This is the blurb from their website to describe it... "SatoriFit is a unique program that is specially designed for men and women. Unlike any program offered before, it combines cutting edge fitness concepts with state of the art nutrition, real-world self protection strategies and functional tips on living life to the fullest."

It was such a pleasure to have all the cheerful & helpful personalities there! We usually see each other fresh out of bed not the shower! Jamie (my new 11 year old assistant) was able to help out with pulling the trigger so I could hop into a few shots!
